The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,500 - $147,400 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

  • Develop, operate, and continuously improve the KION Azure Cloud Environment to guarantee system availability and keep services running.
  • Assist in configuring and troubleshooting Azure Compute instances, Azure Backup, Azure Storage Monitor, Snapshot, Azure Storage, VNet, Load Balancers, and RBAC.
  • Manage the cost and spend of cloud resources utilizing both Microsoft and third-party tools.
  • Create and update scripts utilizing PowerShell and Terraform.
  • Monitor and analyze occurring failures (IT services, server, container etc.) in depth and solve them.
  • Support product teams with knowledge of cloud services.
  • Act proactively by self-initiated projects and ensure efficiency.
  • Administer and provide upgrades to systems (Windows and Linux servers)
  • Develop technical skills in Google Cloud Platform to be the Subject Matter Expert in Azure and Google Cloud Platform long-term.
  • Tackle demanding projects on a time-sensitive schedule.
  • Configure VM for optimum cost, performance, and security.
  • Define change control parameters for cloud resources.
  • Monitor customer requests.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience with infrastructure and services in public and private cloud environments (Azure is a must, GCP is beneficial).
  • Good knowledge of administration of Windows or Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment processes (e.g., Ansible, Azure DevOps Pipelines).
  • Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and all cloud delivery models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Knowledge of shell scripting (PowerShell or CLI or Bash) and state-of-the-art Cloud technologies for automation.
  • Experience with monitoring or log aggregation tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Azure Monitor) is an advantage.
