Title: Cloud Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Duration: Contract to hire: 12-month contract to perm

Description:

A Cloud Engineer at Client designs, builds, and maintains scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. The role requires automating deployment through CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs, and ensuring all cloud systems comply with banking security and regulatory standards.

Core Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and optimize cloud systems.
  • Automation: Build autonomous CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments and infrastructure automation.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security controls for cloud-based systems and adhere to banking regulations and enterprise architecture standards.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve incidents related to cloud environments and monitor system performance and capacity.
  • Collaboration: Translate internal client needs and business strategies into technical designs and requirements.

Key Requirements & Skills

  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant cloud engineering, software engineering, or data engineering experience.
  • Platform Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and associated data services.
