Position Summary
Gain hands-on, paid experience in youth development and nonprofit programming while helping girls understand what it means to be a girl-leader who makes a difference in the world! As a paid intern, you will guide a group of girls in 6-week, after-school troops for girls in grades K-6, providing pre-planned curriculum at each site to help girls participate in age-appropriate activities focused on exploring their community and their world.
As a Girl Scouts in ACTION Facilitator Intern, you will be a role model to youth in your community, fostering a positive learning environment, and teaching exciting lessons in STEAM, Leadership, Entrepreneurship, Life and Outdoor Skills. Girl Scouts of Wisconsin-Badgerland will provide facilitator training, supplies, and a paid hourly wage, along with mentorship from the School Engagement Manager, to help you lead fun-filled, educational after-school troops.
