Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $55hr - $60hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in Cloud AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, Route 53, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling).
  • 1+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
  • 1+ years of experience in CI/CD using GitLab.
  • 1+ years of experience in DevSecOps and SNYK Vulnerability management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Migrate existing on-premises applications to AWS Cloud with minimal downtime and ensure successful validation.
  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and manage AWS infrastructure.
  • Design and deploy highly available, scalable, multi-region, and multi-AZ AWS environments.
  • Build and maintain SNYK-integrated security pipelines for applications developed using Node.js, Python, Maven, and Gradle.
  • Integrate DevSecOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Design and implement end-to-end observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud applications.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks. Implement auto-scaling strategies and optimize infrastructure utilization and cloud costs.
  • Ensure security, compliance, vulnerability management, and patch management across cloud environments.
  • Perform capacity planning, asset tagging, and production environment governance. Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with development, architecture, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver cloud-native solutions.
  • Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore teams while participating in Agile ceremonies.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience migrating enterprise applications from on-premises to AWS.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes/EKS.
  • AWS Certification (Associate or Professional) is preferred.
  • Experience with reusable Terraform modules and enterprise cloud governance.
  • Understanding of networking, IAM, and cloud security best practices.
