Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States with the ability to work in Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time zone business hours.

Primarily responsible for the design, implementation, optimization and management of secure and advanced cloud infrastructure solutions in a multi-cloud environment within a regulated large financial institution. Provide hands-on support for cloud infrastructure, develop Infrastructure as Code solutions, and assist application teams with cloud adoption. Experience designing and operating secure cloud platforms in compliance with banking regulatory frameworks like FFIEC, CCM, SOX, PCI-DSS.  Prociency in scripting, cloud architecture, and problem-solving skills are required, along with the ability to lead complex projects and mentor junior and mid-level engineers. Deploy and manage cloud resources, optimizing congurations for security, performance and cost-eectiveness. Lead the design and deployment of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures for critical applications. Dene and implement best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation. Mentor team members providing guidance and technical leadership on complex projects. Engage in research and continuous improvement initiatives to adopt new technologies and best practices. Maintain and share technical documentation to support knowledge transfer within the team. Provide 24/7 on-call support to ensure the availability and reliability of cloud infrastructure. This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States with the ability to work in Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time zone business hours.


Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or eight (8) years as a Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, Cloud Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer within a Large Financial Institution (LFI) in a multi-cloud environment, or a related occupation.

Requires expertise in more than one of the following cloud platforms - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, or enterprise scale deployments. Advanced proficiency in computer programming languages (Bash, Python, or Go), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, or ARM Templates) for automated provisioning of infrastructure for Operational Resilience. Requires advanced experience of Cloud Security, Identity Management and regulatory compliance (SOC2, PCI-DSS, or FFIEC). Requires expertise in designing and embedding preventive and detective controls based on CCM v4 in CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows supporting Cloud Native and Hybrid architectures (Public + Private Cloud). Expertise in designing and developing internal platform services and self-service deployment frameworks. Advanced solution expertise with Cloud and Network Security Architectures, monitoring and observability tools. Requires intermediate experience administering Linux and Windows operating systems. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, CyberSec and Risk Teams. Requires ability to provide 24/7 on-call support as needed. Experience in large regulated financial institutions, ensuring alignment with Governance, Audit and Compliance Standards. The base pay for this position is generally between $168,000 to $203,509 per year.
