Alteo is looking for a Senior DevOps for a permanent position based in Montreal.

*** Hybrid: 6 days in the office per month ***

You will have the opportunity to grow within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the digital transformation of a large-scale platform, in a dynamic, delivery-focused environment where we work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, all within a modern, flexible, and people-oriented workplace.

You will be responsible for implementing and executing business solution architecture plans that address the evolving needs of existing solutions and those to be deployed, while adhering to the target architecture and IT master plan. You will also be responsible for maintaining and implementing the business solution architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead for the industrialization and automation of solution deployment
  • Actively contribute to the feasibility, design, and implementation phases of various software development and integration projects, while adhering to industry-standard principles of solution architecture, infrastructure, and software
  • Be able to establish and recommend secure, reliable, and high-performance IT solutions that meet business needs
  • Promote the reuse of proven solutions to optimize the quality of services and operations
  • Serve as a consultant and act as a resource person and coach for senior management and future leaders
  • Actively participate in and lead solution testing, as well as the deployment of the cloud environments necessary for system delivery
  • Perform quality assurance on the documentation of proposed architectural alignments as part of the implementation of the IT strategic plan
  • Design technology infrastructures with a focus on functional requirements, scalability, overall performance, and security requirements
  • Work closely with managed service providers to ensure the delivery of a high-performance infrastructure
  • Participate in the diagnosis and resolution of complex operational issues 24/7 as needed;
  • Participate in risk and cost-benefit analyses.

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience in IT and solutions architecture
  • Extensive and in-depth expertise across multiple technology and/or business domains, covering aspects related to data, applications, and infrastructure
  • Ability to implement and champion all principles related to DevOps and SRE practices
  • Possess excellent analytical and synthesis skills and the ability to make recommendations
  • Demonstrate versatility, proactivity, and autonomy in the daily performance of duties
  • Exercise inspiring leadership with stakeholders from various business sectors and multidisciplinary teams
  • Possess knowledge of AGILE and SAFe development methods and their fundamental lifecycle principles

  • SDLC:
    • IaC deployment (Infrastructure as Code, Terraform)

  • Software and integration:
    • Expertise in one of the API gateway services (e.g., Apigee, Traefik, API Gateway, Kong)

  • Contribuer activement aux phases de faisabilite, de conception et de realisation de divers projets de developpement et d'integration de progiciel, tout en respectant les principes d'architecture de solution, d'infrastructure et logiciel de l'industrie
  • Etre capable d'etablir et recommander des solutions TI securitaires, fiables et performantes qui repondent aux besoins d'affaires
  • Favoriser la reutilisation de solutions eprouvees en permettant d'optimiser la qualite des services et des operations
  • Exercer un role d'expert-conseil et agir a titre de personne-ressource et de coach aupres de la haute direction ainsi qu'aux personnes de la releve
  • Participer activement et piloter les experimentations des solutions, ainsi que la mise en service des environnements infonuagiques necessaires a la livraison des systemes
  • Realiser l'assurance qualite de la documentation des alignements architecturaux proposes dans le cadre de l'implantation du plan strategique TI
  • Concevoir des infrastructures technologiques en se preoccupant des besoins fonctionnels, des capacites d'evolution, de la performance globale et des exigences de securite
  • Travailler de concert avec les fournisseurs de service d'infogerance afin d'assurer la livraison d'une infrastructure performante

Profil:

  • BAC en TI, Genie logiciel ou l'equivalent
  • 7-10+ annees d'experience pertinente en TI et en architecture de solutions
  • Expertise etendue et approfondie de plusieurs domaines technologiques et/ou d'affaires et la couverture d'aspects touchant les donnees, les applications et les infrastructures
  • Savoir mettre en place et evangeliser tous les principes lies a la pratique DevOps et SRE
  • Posseder d'excellentes habiletes d'analyse, de synthese et habilite a faire des recommandations
