Alteo is looking for a Senior DevOps for a permanent position based in Montreal.

You will have the opportunity to grow within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the digital transformation of a large-scale platform, in a dynamic, delivery-focused environment where we work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, all within a modern, flexible, and people-oriented workplace.

You will be responsible for implementing and executing business solution architecture plans that address the evolving needs of existing solutions and those to be deployed, while adhering to the target architecture and IT master plan. You will also be responsible for maintaining and implementing the business solution architecture.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead for the industrialization and automation of solution deployment
  • Actively contribute to the feasibility, design, and implementation phases of various software development and integration projects, while adhering to industry-standard principles of solution architecture, infrastructure, and software
  • Be able to establish and recommend secure, reliable, and high-performance IT solutions that meet business needs
  • Promote the reuse of proven solutions to optimize the quality of services and operations
  • Serve as a consultant and act as a resource person and coach for senior management and future leaders
  • Actively participate in and lead solution testing, as well as the deployment of the cloud environments necessary for system delivery
  • Perform quality assurance on the documentation of proposed architectural alignments as part of the implementation of the IT strategic plan
  • Design technology infrastructures with a focus on functional requirements, scalability, overall performance, and security requirements
  • Work closely with managed service providers to ensure the delivery of a high-performance infrastructure
  • Participate in the diagnosis and resolution of complex operational issues 24/7 as needed;

Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent
  • 7-10+ years of relevant experience in IT and solutions architecture
  • Extensive and in-depth expertise across multiple technology and/or business domains, covering aspects related to data, applications, and infrastructure
  • Ability to implement and champion all principles related to DevOps and SRE practices
  • Possess excellent analytical and synthesis skills and the ability to make recommendations
