Systems Engineering - Sr Advisor
TITLE: Systems Engineering - Sr Advisor
EMPLOYER: Fiserv Solutions, LLC
LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Design and build communications of outages, service impacts, and all other Splunk infrastructure-related events within the SLA defined by the Mission Support organization. Proactively monitor the Splunk infrastructure and follow an iterative, continuous improvement model to ensure system health. Perform after-action reports and root-cause analysis reviews with the architecture and engineering teams. Perform routine software upgrades and minor releases. Adhere to the change control process and ensure that all work is documented. Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform. Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and 6 years in any job title involving DevOps and CI/CD experience. Prior experience must include: 4 years working in Cloud Computing; 4 years of Linux scripting; 4 years working in computing, networks, firewall, security, and authentication principles; 4 years of Agile framework and Scrum methodology for software engineering; 4 years of developing and administering Splunk infrastructures; and 3 years working with GitHub, GitLab, Terraform Enterprise, Ansible, Jenkins, Harness, Fortify, Sonar, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Python, and Azure.
