About the position
Seeking a hands-on Cloud Automation Engineer for an initial 6-month contract. This person will work closely with their existing automation resource and cloud team to learn current processes, reduce siloed automation practices, improve internal automation workflows, and help train the broader team. The role is intended to work alongside their current automation resource, cross-train on their internal processes, align automation practices more closely with the cloud team, and eventually help train the broader team.

  • Experience working in an infrastructure-automation environment
  • Ansible
  • Terraform
  • GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD workflow tool
  • PowerShell
  • Solid Windows Server and Linux administration background
  • Experience automating provisioning, configuration management, decommissioning, or server lifecycle tasks
  • Experience working across hybrid infrastructure environments, not just public cloud-native environments
  • Ability to document processes, train others, and improve standardization across teams
