We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to provide technical direction, people leadership, and architectural oversight for the Public Investments technology platform.

In this role, you will lead a team of software and data engineers while owning the technical strategy, architecture, and delivery approach across web applications, APIs, and data platforms. You will partner closely with Product Management, Enterprise Architecture, and investment technology stakeholders to build secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that support investment management operations and decision‑making.

• Define and communicate the technical vision, architecture roadmap, and engineering strategy for Public Investments technology platforms.
• Translate business objectives and product requirements into scalable technical solutions and implementation plans.

• Design and optimise integrations with investment management solutions such as:

• Partner with business and technology teams to enhance investment workflows and data management capabilities.
• Ensure technology solutions support operational efficiency, investment decision‑making, and regulatory requirements.

• Identify and mitigate architectural, security, performance, and integration risks.
• Lead incident response reviews, root‑cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Ensure systems are designed for resiliency, recoverability, and operational sustainability.
• Support secure development practices and compliance with enterprise technology standards.
• Continuously improve platform stability and operational effectiveness.
• Serve as the direct manager and mentor for software and data engineers.
• Lead performance management, coaching, career development, and succession planning activities.

• Coordinate dependencies across development teams, platforms, and shared services.
• Work closely with investment business stakeholders to ensure technology solutions meet operational needs.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Support release planning, implementation readiness, and platform adoption initiatives.

• Experience supporting Public Investment Management platforms such as:
• Bloomberg
• Calypso
• Similar investment management systems
• 8+ years of software engineering, data engineering, or technology leadership experience.
• Experience leading engineers directly or demonstrating readiness for formal people leadership responsibilities.
• Strong expertise with:
