Pay Range
The pay range for this role is $14.42-19.71 per hour. Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience.

Job Summary

Laborers may clean and prepare construction sites, load and unload building materials, and build or take apart scaffolding. They may also dig trenches, backfill holes, and compact earth.
Responsibilities And Duties
  • Operate hand and power tools of all types safely.
  • Lubricate, clean, and maintain machinery, equipment, and tools
  • Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, and distribute them to the appropriate locations, as directed.
  • Assist other trade workers or work independently to accomplish construction and maintenance tasks
  • Perform construction-related tasks in and around undeveloped and remote areas in adverse conditions
  • Perform tasks requiring repeated heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, digging, hauling, standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, and squatting
  • Responsible for maintaining and demonstrating workplace safety and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow directions and finish tasks safely, accurately, and promptly.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Experience and Education
  • Previous construction experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to work in an active outdoor construction site environment.
  • Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
  • Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust.
  • Must be able to wear the required personal protective equipment while at work.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to work for long periods of time while standing.
