Mr. Splash Car Wash is looking for an eager Shift Lead!


The Shift Lead is a shining example of both the MSS and MSA roles, serving as a master of the positions and a role model for the rest of the team. This role is not only crucial for daily operations, but also for supporting their Store Leadership with training new MSS and MSA's and overseeing important site functions. The Shift Lead plays a vital role in the success of every Mr. Splash location.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.   
  • Opening and closing the location as needed. 
  • Support the GM and AGM in creating relationships, engaging customers and ensuring they have a good experience.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide accurate information about products and services.
  • Process transactions quickly and efficiently.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.  
  • Communicate with Managers regarding DRB operating system concerns or problems that may arise.
  • It is important to represent Mr. Splash to the community both on and off the clock! Our attitude and integrity set the tone for the culture we aspire to create.
  • Lead through the promotion & education of our Unlimited Memberships.
  • Complete all other duties assigned by Management.
  • Train and Mentor New MSS and MSA's, Setting a High Standard of Performance    
  • Support Management with Daily Operations and Team Coordination      
  • Assist with Chemical and Supply Stocking and Inventory
  • Lead by Example to Foster a Positive, Team-Oriented Environment
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures.

Work Conditions:

  • Shift Leads need to be physically fit and are expected to work in all types of weather. Work shifts are typically 8-10 hours long and may include evenings and weekends. Staff may be required to wear their own clothes (excluding what is required by Mr. Splash Car Wash) that are appropriate for the working conditions.

Abilities:

  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
  • Must remain flexible; available to work any shift, to ensure the staffing needs are met, maintaining great customer service no matter the volume.
  • Must be able to implement and apply policies and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure, to avoid delays and shutdowns for customers.  
  • Must be able to physically perform the duties and responsibilities for all car wash operations. To include standing for extended periods of time, climbing ladders, cleaning/removing debris from tunnel trench and moving chemical barrels.
  • Must maintain a proactive safety awareness, maintain a positive attitude, be a team player, and operate with integrity and honesty as a member of the Mr. Splash team.

Qualifications:

  • Mechanical knowledge highly recommended
  • Experience in customer care (minimum 2 years)
