Job description

Join our dynamic retail store management team in the Columbus area! We are seeking customer service-oriented individuals who thrive in a lively, team-focused environment for our 4 Columbus-area Clothes Mentor locations. If you are energetic, upbeat, and enjoy engaging with customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As a member of our retail store management team, you will oversee store operations, including buying and selling gently used clothing and accessories, loss prevention, merchandising, and team supervision. Our company is committed to fostering a supportive and fun workplace, with ample opportunities for growth and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of daily store operations
  • Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Motivate and direct store teams to maximize productivity and profitability
  • Communicate daily and weekly store goals to the team
  • Promote exceptional customer service through coaching, training, and role modeling
  • Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards
  • Uphold all operational policies and procedures
  • Buy gently used clothing and accessories to meet company standards
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year of management experience in retail, restaurant, or other fast-paced environments
  • Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and impeccably honest
  • Ability to adjust priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service, communication, organization, and follow-through skills

Working Conditions and Expectations
  • Required to work 40-42 hours per week, including 2 nights and rotating weekends
  • Frequent walking, standing, stooping, climbing ladders, pushing, and repetitive lifting
  • Vision, coordination, and reading requirements consistent with inspecting items closely and efficiently
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs.
