We are searching for a Clothing Lead at Hope Bargain Center! This role will be focused on overseeing donation sorting and supporting staff, residents, and volunteers; while maintaining a steady flow of production in the Clothing Department. The ideal candidate has previous experience in operational or supervisory environments; if this is you, please let us know by submitting an application!


Job Title: Clothing Lead

Classification: Full-time, non-exempt

Shift/Schedule: Hours within the range of 8:00am - 6:30pm, rotating Saturday's


Experience, Education, and Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership abilities
  • Time management skills
  • Lead by example; guide and encourage staff and residents to excel
  • Working knowledge of second-hand goods
  • Basic understanding of clothing items and willingness to learn pricing models
  • Other duties as assigned by the Store Manager and/or Business Manager
  • Lead in maintaining an intentional, faith-based, healthy, healing community

Summary of Job Duties:

  • Manage the flow of merchandise in the Clothing Department
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe working area
  • Lead and supervise vocational training participants and volunteers
  • Train new staff on Clothing Department tasks
  • Represent organization well to: customers, volunteers, donors, and employees.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven Supply Chain, Operational or Supervisor experience (1-3 years)
  • 1 year of Leadership or employee coaching experience
