Position Overview
Valitana is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven U.S. Sales Vice President to lead revenue growth initiatives across our structured finance and fintech solutions. The individual in this role will be responsible for driving new business development, expanding client relationships, and executing strategic sales initiatives that align with Valitana's growth objectives. This role requires a proven track record of selling complex financial technology solutions, deep knowledge of structured finance products, and the ability to engage with C-level executives across the institutional investor landscape.
Responsibilities
  • Lead new business development efforts by driving enterprise-level sales of Valitana's products and solutions to institutional clients.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Develop and execute strategic go-to-market sales plans, including competitive positioning and value-based selling strategies.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by developing deep client relationships, understanding business goals, and aligning Valitana's solutions to meet client needs.
  • Partner with product management, client services, and leadership to influence product strategy based on client and market feedback.
  • Represent Valitana at industry conferences, events, and client meetings to expand brand presence and thought leadership.
  • Oversee and lead negotiations of subscription terms, ensuring sustainable, long-term partnerships.
  • Drive expansion opportunities with existing clients through cross-sell and upsell strategies.
  • Mentor and guide junior sales team members, contributing to a culture of collaboration, performance, and client success.

Qualifications
  • 7-10+ years of sales experience in financial services or financial technology, with a focus on structured finance products.
  • Proven success in developing new business and managing sales cycles with institutional clients.
  • Deep understanding of structured finance products (MBS, ABS, CDO, CLO, CMBS) and the broader structured finance landscape.
  • Established network of relationships with decision-makers across banks, asset managers, and institutional investors.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills with the ability to influence C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales quotas and revenue targets.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited school.

What We Offer
The base salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000. Valitana offers a competitive compensation package which includes base salary and commission plan. Employees also receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes an employer matched retirement plan, healthcare with medical, dental, vision, telemedicine, and PTO.
Employees in this role will work in the office Mondays through Wednesdays with the flexibility to work remotely Thursdays and Fridays.
