Job description

Job Summary
We are looking for an Account Coordinator to join our Partnership Marketing team and help bring to life the strategic partnerships we build with key corporate brands from around the globe. You will coordinate all aspects of fulfilling, tracking, and reporting on contractual commitments and will guide your roster of LA Clippers and Intuit Dome partnerships through the lifecycle of a deal, including support of upsells and renewal negotiations. You will support the fulfillment of media assets (digital, social, radio, print, television, etc.), in-market promotions, in-arena activations, hospitality, experiential, and community programs for both the LA Clippers and Intuit Dome.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. The scope of this position encompasses a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.
What You Will Do
  • Own the day-to-day operations and fulfill contractual obligations of assigned corporate partnership accounts, with primary focus on supporting the management of the Arena's naming rights partner and support other team members on additional accounts for both the LA Clippers.
  • Cultivate partner relationships at all levels from day-to-day contacts to executive decision makers through regular touchpoints, including but not limited to, email communication, weekly status calls; hospitality and special events; pre-season planning, mid-season check-in, and post-season recap meetings, etc. Act as a corporate marketing consultant to partner contacts to develop and deliver impactful and measurable sponsorship platforms.
  • Develop an understanding of the industry landscape, business objectives, challenges, opportunities, etc. within basketball partnerships and among your assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate on the strategy for and fulfillment of partnership marketing initiatives with internal and external partners.
  • Support the Corporate Partnerships Team as a whole with ownership of partner-centric trackers for organizational verticals such as social and digital media, game presentation, marketing, community relations efforts, signage, proposals, presentation development and special project deliverables.
  • Contribute directly to department revenue goals by assisting with renewals and upsell opportunities.
  • Become proficient in operating CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to streamline business processes.
  • Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment.

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of meaningful professional work experience with a sports property, consumer brand, agency, or venue preferred.
  • Corporate marking and/or partnership sales experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or sports management or equivalent work experience.
  • Digital literacy required: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required.
  • Available and willing to work extended hours, including nights and weekends and be on-call as needed for games and events.
  • Demonstrated ability to be strategic, creative and solution-focused.
  • Ability to establish strong and effective client and interdepartmental relationships.
  • Able to balance multiple client contacts and projects in an organized and efficient manner, seeing projects through from inception to completion.
  • Will maintain confidentiality and use the upmost discretion when privy to sensitive information.
  • Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
  • Self-starter and ambitious spirit with hands-on approach towards business.

Compensation
  • The range for this position is $68,000 - $70,000 annual compensation. Compensation package offered will be based on multiple individualized factors, including a candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • The role is classified as non-exempt.
