Job description

Clipper Tree Service is currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused professional to join our team as a climber/crew leader. This position is the key role in delivering high-quality service to residential and commercial clients.

Applicants should have an understanding and familiarity with the following;

  • Identification and Use of Climbing Equipment
  • Hazard Risk Assessment
  • Rope Installation and Tying-In
  • Methods for Ascending & Descending
  • Isolating a Throw Line
  • Limb-Walking
  • Techniques for Double-Crotching, Recrotching, and Redirecting
  • Techniques for Lowering with Control Lines
  • Strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and situational awareness

Qualifications for the job include;

  • Experience of 3+ years as a full-time climber
  • Basic understanding of ANSI A300 Standard (Part I Pruning)
  • Familiarity with ANSI Z133 Safety Standards
  • Aerial Rescue Techniques
  • Required PPE for Climbers
  • Electrical Hazard Awareness
  • ISA Certified Arborist credential strongly preferred but not required
