Job description


The Mayo Clinic Rochester Department of Radiology is seeking candidates to join our amazing team in the Division of Abdominal Imaging. We operate a high-volume clinical practice, providing the full gamut of services and for this position we are specifically seeking individuals skilled in blending diagnostic abdominal imaging with abdominal intervention, specifically with CT guidance (such as percutaneous biopsies and drainages). Prior experience with abdominal interventions is strongly preferred. Ability to participate in other clinical areas including US and US intervention is strongly encouraged. There are additional opportunities to participate in divisions such as Hospital/ER imaging, depending upon everyone's interest and expertise. Academic rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the individual.
As a part of the Division of Abdominal Imaging at Mayo Rochester, you will work alongside nationally and internationally recognized leaders in radiology at a world-renowned medical center. Our radiology team is fully integrated with the medical and surgical subspecialty teams, providing extraordinary collaborative interdisciplinary care for our patients and unparalleled opportunities for continued learning, research, and innovation for our radiologists. Mayo Clinic has developed a new Research Department for AI and Informatics and currently more than 200 AI projects are in various stages of maturity across the discovery-translation-application research continuum. The institution and the Department of Radiology are committed to leading the movement to bring AI tools and technology into clinical practice. The Department of Radiology has a large residency and fellowship program (including both an Abdominal Radiology and a Body Imaging & Intervention Fellowship) and places a high priority on providing a first-rate education for our trainees.

Qualifications
MD, DO, or equivalent degree with subspecialty training in Abdominal, Body Imaging, or similar. Eligible for Minnesota medical license. Board eligible/board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
Well versed in abdominopelvic CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy preferred.
