Job description

Job Summary
The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and oversight of all administrative, clinical, and service functions of assigned clinical staff. Additional responsibilities include fostering relationships with community resources, supervising interns in coordination with other supervisors, and evaluating the performance of clinical staff.
Schedule
Mon/Tue/Wed 11 AM - 9 PM and Thursday 11 AM - 8 PM (4 day work week) OR Tuesday - Saturday, 2 day shifts, 2 evenings, and Saturday 9 AM - 2 PM
Essential Responsibilities and Metrics
โ€ข Provide evidence and strength-based clinical supervision for at least 9 clinical staff and interns
โ€ข Evaluate the performance of assigned staff while assuring compliance with productivity requirements, assessments, and documentation
โ€ข Maintain 30-35% direct service productivity and caseload of clients to support productivity goal after 3 months onboarding period, as designated for the role
โ€ข Be available to handle crisis requests for clinical and front office staff
โ€ข Participate cooperatively and collaboratively in mandatory meetings, performance improvement activities, committee work, foster relationships with community resources, and when requested, attend mandatory in-services
โ€ข Proficiency with confidentiality, HIPAA, client rights, safety, and infection control, incident and sentinel event reporting and personnel policies
โ€ข Monitor and approve clinical staff workweek and vacation schedules such that the needs of the Center are covered
โ€ข Other tasks and duties as assigned by Director including quarterly chart audits
Qualifications
โ€ข Licensed for independent clinical practice in the State of Illinois in mental health or related field
โ€ข Working knowledge of best practices in clinical counseling in the field of mental health
โ€ข Demonstrate competence in interdisciplinary and inter-agency collaboration
โ€ข Minimum of 2 years of progressive and successful clinical supervision experience preferable in an outpatient mental health setting
โ€ข Demonstrated administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills
โ€ข Advanced oral and written communication skills
โ€ข Ability to think critically and analytically and to problem solve in both short and long term contexts
Qualifications:
