Clinical Assistant
Internal Medicine seeks a Clinical Study Assistant to support administrative operations and coordination of human subjects research studies.
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated vaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior to the first day of work. We protect our patients, coworkers and community by requiring all patient-sensitive employees to be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy. Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.

Responsibilities
Clinical Assistant, I

Provide operational support for clinical research activities.
  1. Collects and compiles data from study patient interviews and enters into study database
  2. Coordinates and schedules study visits and monitors completion of study assessments by enrolled participants
  3. Enters demographic and other medical record information into study database
  4. Contacts study participants in follow-up phase to ensure compliance with assessments and schedules follow-up visits as needed
  5. Develops and maintains patient databases, investigational logs and records of study treatment administered, and/or procedures followed.
  6. Maintain study supply inventory, including ordering supplemental test articles and returning unused test articles to sponsor
  7. Prepares and maintains regulatory documents

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
