Responsible for the design, development, implementation, management, and support of clinical software applications used in healthcare settings. Ensures that clinical applications meet the needs of healthcare providers by optimizing workflows and improving patient care. Analyzes clinical workflows and collaborates with clinical staff to gather requirements and translate these into system configurations. Configures and optimizes applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical operations through the use of technology. Supports application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.

Job Description Summary

Responsible for the design, development, implementation, management, and support of clinical software applications used in healthcare settings. Supports application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.

Job Duties

Lead full lifecycle management of clinical application solutions—including strategic planning, development, testing, configuration, optimization, and implementation. Drive end-to-end activities for assigned solution portfolios, ensuring high-performance outcomes and alignment with organizational goals. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, collaborating on governance committees to prioritize projects and workloads. Promote consistent use of tools, workflows, and platforms, advocating for industry best practices and innovative solutions to enhance patient and user experience. Provide leadership and oversight for teams managing clinical systems (e.g., Epic modules, ancillary applications), ensuring integration and optimization across departments.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 15+ years progressive applications and leadership experience.
Physical Demands

Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
