Clinical Site Lead Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Brick House Recovery is hiring a Clinical Site Lead to provide day-to-day clinical operational leadership at our Idaho Falls outpatient location, while continuing to carry a meaningful clinical caseload. This is a “working leader” role, ideal for a strong clinician who wants to grow into clinical operations and future clinical director–level leadership.

You’ll be the on-site anchor for your team: managing schedules, coordinating care, supporting peers, and solving problems in real time, all under close mentorship from our Clinical Director.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership (about 20%)

• Serve as the primary point person for daily clinical operations at your site
• Manage schedules, coverage, and same-day adjustments
• Coordinate with Admissions on new client placement and intake flow
• Help resolve peer issues, staffing conflicts, and urgent operational concerns
• Onboard new clinicians to the building, team rhythms, and local culture
• Keep the Clinical Director informed on issues impacting client care, staffing, or experience

Clinical Practice (about 80%)

• Maintain a regular clinical caseload appropriate to your credential
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy
• Implement Brick House Press curriculum
• Meet documentation standards (e.g., progress notes within 24 hours, treatment plans and discharges within set timeframes)
• Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and coordinate with outside providers, probation, hospitals, and community partners

Team, Culture & Quality

• Communicate direction from the Clinical Director and Chief Clinical Officer in a way that “lands” with the team
• Surface team concerns, friction points, and ideas to leadership
• Support new hires during onboarding and integration into the clinical culture
• Model Brick House clinical voice, ethics, and communication standards
• Support documentation timeliness and quality; flag issues to the Clinical Director
• Participate in incident response, debriefing, and documentation as needed
• Help ensure adherence to Idaho DHW rules, CARF, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and ASAM criteria

Leadership Development

• Engage in weekly 1:1 mentorship with the Clinical Director
• Participate in leadership development offerings (Traction / EOS-style execution, leadership readings, internal trainings)
• Grow into increased operational autonomy and broader leadership responsibilities over time

Decision-Making Scope

You will independently manage:

• Daily schedule and coverage at your site
• Peer-level coordination and local operational adjustments
• Client logistics and day-to-day site rhythms

You will partner with the Clinical Director on:

• Complex clinical/treatment decisions
• Performance concerns and changes to documentation or treatment protocols
• Changes affecting more than your site

You will escalate to the Clinical Director:

• Clinical crises beyond your credential/scope
• Disciplinary or performance improvement actions
• Hiring/termination decisions and any supervision requiring a supervisory credential you do not hold

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active Idaho credential: CADC, ACADC, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMFT, or equivalent qualifying clinical/counselor license or certification
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in substance use disorder treatment, mental health, or related setting
• Working knowledge of:
• SUD treatment philosophy
• ASAM criteria (3rd and 4th editions)
• Evidence-based treatment models
• Demonstrated leadership instincts, peer credibility, and operational reliability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable with EHRs (preferably Best Notes), Google Workspace, and standard productivity tools
• Alignment with Brick House Recovery’s mission, values, and clinical philosophy

Preferred

• Experience as a senior counselor, lead clinician, or informal team leader
• Experience in treatment planning, group facilitation, and documentation review
• Familiarity with Brick House Press curriculum
• Clear interest in long-term growth into clinical leadership roles

Work Structure & Supervision

• Approximately 80% clinical work and 20% operational leadership
• Daily on-site presence during business hours for operational decision-making
• Weekly 1:1 with the Clinical Director
• Participation in weekly Leadership Meeting (Tuesday)
• Intensive supervision and check-ins during the first 60–90 days, with growing autonomy over time

Conditions of Employment

• Must be a sober person in recovery for at least 18 months, unless otherwise determined by the Executive Team and CEO
• Successful completion of:
• Pre-employment drug screening (and any follow-up testing based on reasonable suspicion)
• Successfully pass an Enhanced Background Check with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare
• Orientation and all required onboarding paperwork
• CPR/First Aid training within the first 30 days of employment
• Maintain current Idaho credential and complete all required continuing education on time
