We are a growing medical device company developing innovative technology to transform the treatment of mitral valve disease. Our team is advancing a transcatheter mitral valve replacement through pivotal clinical development, with a shared commitment to bringing safe, effective, and innovative technology to patients.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a Clinical Science Manager to support the scientific and clinical strategy behind our innovative structural heart technology. This role will combine scientific data analysis, literature research, medical and technical writing, and scientific communications to help translate complex clinical information into meaningful insights for internal teams, physicians, and external scientific audiences.
You will work closely with Clinical, R&D, Regulatory, and other cross-functional teams while helping prepare scientific content, publications, presentations, and conference activities that advance our clinical and scientific objectives.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of scientific and clinical data, literature, disease areas, and relevant competitive technologies.
  • Research, analyze, and summarize scientific and clinical information to support Clinical, Regulatory, R&D, and other functional teams.
  • Assist with the development of clinical and scientific documentation, including manuscripts, abstracts, presentations, and other technical materials.
  • Support the planning, management, and execution of pre-clinical studies in partnership with R&D.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of Science Affairs processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor relevant scientific meetings, conferences, publications, and emerging research to identify opportunities to advance the company's scientific objectives.
  • Maintain a forward-looking global scientific meeting calendar, including key abstract submission and presentation deadlines.
  • Support the preparation of abstracts and scientific presentations in collaboration with physicians and internal stakeholders.
  • Help translate complex scientific and clinical data into clear, compelling presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Present relevant scientific meeting and conference insights to internal teams.
  • Support peer-reviewed publication activities, including writing, reviewing, editing, submission, and publication processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Master's degree in Science or a related field required; PhD preferred.
  • 0-3 years of related scientific experience.
  • Experience supporting the development, review, editing, submission, and completion of peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Strong scientific and technical writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate scientific information clearly to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively taking direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

  • Initiative: Proactively identifies opportunities, conducts research, and recommends scientific meetings or other forums where company data may have impact.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities evolve and collaboration is essential.
