Position Overview

Mindful Clinical Therapy is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is vital to delivering high-quality care to individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will bring a strong commitment to serving underprivileged populations and a depth of experience that empowers them to foster resilience and recovery in clients.

Work Environment

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will work remotely, primarily interacting with clients who require support in detox and rehabilitation settings. Key Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with clients both in virtual settings and through community outreach, addressing the needs of those who endure major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
  • Develop and implement integrated treatment plans tailored to individual clients, ensuring that all care is client-centered and responsive to their needs.
  • Monitor client progress meticulously by assessing ongoing needs and adapting treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Participate actively in team meetings to contribute to common goals and share insights related to patient care and therapy techniques.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and individual counseling tailored to the needs of both adults and adolescents coping with addiction and mental health issues.
  • Assist in crisis intervention situations, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring client safety at all times.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and screenings based on evidence-based practices and ensure that referral processes are seamless for clients.
  • Prepare timely documentation and reports to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and internal quality standards.
  • Be available for on-call responsibilities during and after program hours as required by the needs of the facility.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the organization, offering feedback and participating in committees aimed at enhancing service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The LCSW will specifically work with adults and adolescents in recovery from substance use disorders, alongside co-occurring mental health challenges. Our clients often come from diverse backgrounds and experience a variety of social and economic hardships. This role is crucial in providing tailored support and guidance that respects their unique stories and cultural contexts.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Social Work (BSW) is required; a Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work (MSW) is preferred.
  • Current licensing as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is essential.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar clinical role, particularly with populations facing issues related to mental health and substance use.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a Detox center or addiction treatment facility is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with integrated care models and evidence-based therapies.
  • Proven track record of successful client outcomes and effective therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
