• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health needs of students and develop tailored treatment plans that incorporate solution-focused interventions.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote coping strategies and recovery.
• Document client progress with meticulous clinical records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate optimal care, share insights, and strategize effective interventions for complex cases.
• Facilitate case consultations and peer review sessions, contributing to shared learning and continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, fostering a deeper understanding of mental health issues and empowering them to take an active role in their treatment process.
• Remain current with developments in the mental health field, applying innovative techniques to enhance treatment outcomes for clients.

In this role, you will primarily engage with a diverse range of students facing various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. The focus will be on fostering resilience and promoting healthy coping mechanisms, while closely collaborating with families and educational staff to support each child’s progress in a school setting.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid LICSW license in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience specializing in psychotherapy, ideally within a school or community mental health context.
• Proficiency in applying solution-based psychotherapy interventions tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous professional development.

• Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical or school setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with school systems and the challenges faced by students in educational environments.
• Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment.
