Do Your Talents Include the Following?
  • A solid foundation of healthcare industry knowledge and a deep understanding of key internal controls related to IT, cybersecurity, and other healthcare business functions like revenue cycle, compliance, privacy, operational, clinical, and/or financial processes.

  • A strong understanding of technology risk management, cybersecurity principles, and control frameworks within healthcare environments

  • Experience assessing technology risks and enhancing controls across security, identity, infrastructure, applications, and data environments

  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific cybersecurity risks, including ransomware, medical device security, EHR vulnerabilities, and third-party ecosystem risk

  • Specific focus on areas of technology included: cybersecurity, cloud, data governance, analytics, electronic medical records (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.), enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics etc.), disaster recovery, systems development methodologies etc.

  • Understanding commonly used information technology frameworks / regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, HITRUST CSF, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, etc.

  • Experience with emerging technologies such as AI and automation, with a focus on governance, security, and risk implications.

  • Ability to translate technology risks and technical topics into clear, actionable insights for executive stakeholders

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to evaluate data, identify trends, and provide risk-based recommendations

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including executive-level presentations and documentation

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities, and adapting to change

  • Experience leading teams, managing project delivery, and contributing to client account growth

  • Ability to build relationships, develop thought leadership, and contribute to internal and external initiatives

Your Educational and Professional Qualifications:
  • 5+ years working in cyber security, technology risk, consulting, or related field, either in professional services or healthcare industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business-Related Field) required.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Secondary emphasis on Visio and Access.

  • Proficiency in PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, and/or RPA Solutions a plus.

  • Professional certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or similar preferred.

Our Hybrid Workplace
Protiviti practices a hybrid model, which is a combination of working in person with a purpose and working remotely. This model creates meaningful experiences for our people and our clients while offering a flexible environment. The ratio of remote to in-person requirements varies by client, project, team, and other business factors. Our people work both in-person in local Protiviti offices and on client sites, which can include local or out-of-state travel based on our projects and client requests and commitments.
Starting salary is based on a full-time equivalent schedule. Placement in the range is dependent upon experience, skills and geographic work location. Below is the salary range for this job.
$121,000.00 - $192,000.00
Our annual bonus plan provides eligible employees additional cash and/or discretionary stock compensation opportunities. Below is the bonus target opportunity for this job.

$135,520.00 - $215,040.00
Employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverages, FSA and HSA healthcare accounts, life and accident insurance, adoption and fertility assistance, paid parental leave up to 10 weeks, and short/long term disability. We offer eligible employees a company 401(k) savings and investment plan with an employer match of 50% on the first 6% of your contributions. We provide Choice Time Off (CTO) for vacation, personal needs, and sick time. The amount of (CTO) varies based on years of service. New hires receive up to 20 days of CTO per calendar year. Protiviti also recognizes up to 11 paid holidays each calendar year.
