Job description

This is a posting for a Clinical Research Nurse position with the Urology Research department located at William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. We are an active clinical trials office, participating in a number of clinical research trials.
About Outpatient Clinics
Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of Work
The Clinical Research Nurse is responsible for protocol coordination, including research participant recruitment, enrollment, implementation and follow-up of research procedures. The Clinical Research Nurse promotes good clinical practices in the conduct of clinical investigations by possessing knowledge of federal regulations and guidance documents for the conduct of clinical trials and human subject protection. The Regulatory Clinical Research Nurse provides regulatory support and guidelines based on Federal Guidelines. Assures compliance with Regulatory guidelines and Beaumont policies (FDA, NIH and HIPAA).
Qualifications
  • Required Bachelor's Degree in nursing.
  • Preferred Current phlebotomy skills.

  • Prior medical/surgical clinical experience. Required

  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Clinical Research Professional, Certified (CCRP) - SOCRA Society of Clinical Research Associates 3 Yrs required Or
  • CRT-At least one Certification from preferred list - UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association preferred Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross preferred
