The successful candidate will utilize a remote work setting, allowing for work-life balance and flexibility. Though remote, our mental health counselors are integral parts of an outpatient office team that interacts regularly through virtual platforms and scheduled meetings. • Deliver individualized counseling services to clients, addressing a diverse range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, goals, and progress.
• Monitor and document client progress accurately in compliance with established protocols, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Engage clients in therapeutic modalities, employing evidence-based practices and interventions suitable for their conditions.
• Represent Discovery Mood Clinical Services at community events, promoting mental health awareness and building vital relationships within the community.

The Mental Health Counselor will serve a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients vary in age and background, and the counselor will work with both adults and youth, providing culturally competent care to address their specific needs and challenges.

• A Master’s degree in fields such as Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• A valid, independent licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT in Pennsylvania is essential.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic practices.

• Experience in a fast-paced outpatient environment is highly desirable.
• Background in providing teletherapy or remote counseling services is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation standards.
