• Conduct thorough biopsychosocial assessments of students, focusing on mental health, behavioral concerns, and social factors impacting their educational experience.
• Deliver a range of behavioral health services including individual and group counseling, therapy sessions, crisis intervention, and development of treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Document all interventions and progress notes electronically, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
• Identify high-risk students through ongoing risk assessments for mental health issues, including suicidal ideation, and escalate concerns to appropriate providers as needed.
• Collaborate with educational staff and community agencies to facilitate access to resources, referrals, and medication management programs to support students and their families.
• Engage in continuous professional development and maintain collaboration with Quality Improvement teams to enhance service delivery and meet compliance measures.

The focus of this role lies in addressing the mental health and social service needs of students from diverse backgrounds, with attention to their unique cultural, emotional, and developmental circumstances. You will support children and adolescents dealing with various issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and challenges related to academic performance, ensuring they receive appropriate guidance and interventions.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
• Must possess a current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience post-licensure, preferably in a mental health or school setting.
• Proficiency in counseling techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to apply independent judgment in therapeutic contexts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in documentation and compliance with healthcare standards.

• Experience working in a school environment or with children and adolescents is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate group therapy sessions and support staff training initiatives.
