Job description

Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Medical Lab Technician responsible for analyzing laboratory specimens and accurately reporting results following established protocols. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic regional healthcare environment serving the Southeastern United States.
Education
Candidates should hold an Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology with clinical training across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient testing. Alternatively, completion of a 50-week official U.S. military medical laboratory procedures course with experience as a Medical Laboratory Specialist (Laboratory Technician) is acceptable.
Experience and Certifications
Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as an MLT through ASCP or NCA. Proven clinical training in specimen testing for diverse patient populations is essential.
Skills and Abilities

  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment in various positions.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed, including under stressful conditions.
