OSF ITEMS OF NOTE: - Local Rate: Applies to clinicians with permanent addresses within 50 miles (-# to regular and OT bill rates) - OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift - Non-billable Orientation Hours: 12 hours, guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION: - Last four (4) digits of clinician's SSN - Clinician's middle initial - Requested time off - Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated - Your candidate understands OSF is a Drug-Free Campus and they must produce a negative drug screen for all panels Department: Cath Lab | Tech - # suites/labs: 6 - #cases per day on average: 10 to 15. - Required Certifications: AART, BLS, IEMA. - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Cath lab is separate from IR and EP. - Job Duties: Scrub, monitor hemodynamics, and circulating. - Experience or 'Must have' skills: Previous cath lab experience, Ped's experience preferred but not required, McKesson cardiology PACS experience preferred but not required. - EMR/Equipment: EPIC, PACS and McKesson. - Cardiologist hours/on call: Cardiologist physicians are on call 24 hours, 365 days a year. - Is there a Manager/Charge Nurse on each shift?: Primary charge nurse from 0600-1530. Primary charge does not routinely complete cases, but will take call. - Shifts & Scheduling: 9 hours shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. On call hours on a rotational basis. - Weeknight/Call Requirements: Call requirements are weekly and on a rotational basis. Usually 8-9 shifts per month. - Weekend/Call Requirements: Call requirements are weekly and on a rotational basis. Usually 8-9 shifts per month. - Holiday/Call Requirements: Holidays are on a rotational basis. - What is call response time?: 30 minutes from time of page. - Floating Requirements: Techs are not required to float at this time. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs are provided by hospital. - Unit/Department specific orientation: Orientation is usually 3 to 5 days. - Additional Notes: There is a mandatory call list which is utilize when staff can not fulfill their call shift.
