ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Sayre, Pennsylvania.

Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift of 4x9.5-Hours (06:30 - 16:00).

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Electrophysiology Technologist to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in electrophysiology procedures and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate monitoring and baseline measurements during procedures.
  • Assist in electrophysiology lab tasks including conduction studies and arrhythmia inductions.
  • Coordinate equipment setup and ensure all instruments are functioning properly.
  • Manage patient preparation and care before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field and implement proper techniques in all procedures.
  • Document patient care activities and procedures using the Epic charting system.
  • Participate in emergency responses as part of a rapid response team.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrophysiology or related cardiovascular specialty.
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT or RCIS.
  • Strong experience in cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition.
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system preferred.
  • Ability to perform functions such as pacemaker insertion and EKG lead placement.
