The Clinical Informatics Specialist plays a crucial role in programming and managing the patient services software for the division. This entails the development, management, and maintenance of menus, recipes, and ingredients as well as the use of them in the patient services technology platform. This role extends to various duties such as enhancing contract compliance, increasing purchasing optimization, and maintaining open communication and oversight with facility FANS leadership ensuring proper usage of the technology.

Bachelorsโ€™ degree in Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Finance, Business Management, or Healthcare Administration Mastersโ€™ degree in Foodservice Management, Nutrition, Finance, Business Management, or Healthcare Administration or similar Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with food service software Knowledge of Foodservice activities and duties, terminology and nomenclature required.
