Physician Assistant

As the only independent and physician-led faculty practice plan of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, University Clinical Health (UCH) offers best-in-class clinical care through a network of 175+ providers across 19 specialties to meet the healthcare needs of the Mid-South community. UCH is a not-for-profit, non-tax-supported group practice and is here to serve the community while providing medical excellence to our patients.

The Physician Assistant provides clinical support to Wound Care Division. The position includes providing patient care in a clinic, inpatient rounding, and long-term care facilities. Shares responsibility with attending physicians for performing routine medical examinations and procedures, conducting and evaluating interval histories, communicating treatment plans, obtaining lab tests, and ensuring comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, graduation from an accredited PA program
  • 2 years of wound care experience preferred
  • Must be eligible for licensing in the state of TN
