Work Environment

This position is onsite in our hospitable facility that emphasizes teamwork among healthcare professionals. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. As a Physician Assistant here, you will engage with an interdisciplinary team that includes nurses, medical assistants, and physicians, fostering an environment of support and shared expertise that enhances patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and evaluate patient medical histories to identify their healthcare needs.
  • Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, such as blood panels and radiological imaging, to guide treatment decisions.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of health conditions and illnesses, ensuring a patient-centered approach within the scope of family medicine.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, focusing on both chronic and infectious diseases in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications, adjusting dosages based on patient responses and ongoing evaluations.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records and manage scheduling to ensure optimal flow and efficiency in care delivery.
  • Educate patients and family members about health conditions, preventive measures, and lifestyle changes essential for recovery and maintenance of health.
  • Oversee the holistic management of patientsโ€™ health, promoting preventative care and self-management strategies.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • Proven clinical experience in a family health clinic or comparable healthcare setting.
  • Specialization or significant expertise in family medicine.
  • Strong understanding of patient care regulations and healthcare compliance.
  • Exceptional communication skills to foster effective patient relations.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and patient-centered care.
  • A collaborative team spirit and positive attitude toward joint efforts.

  • A DEA number is required to prescribe medications.
Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
