Job description

Job Summary 

The Clinical Coordinator under the supervision of the Director of Imaging Services supervises, directs and demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning for the care of the patient. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible and accountable for the planning, direction of all direct care to patients ensuring that it is provided in accordance with the NH Nurse Practice Act, recognized nursing techniques, and both clinical and administrative policies.

  • Maintains current knowledge in area(s) of Interventional Radiological clinical supervision. 
  • Under the direction of the Director of Imaging Services, the Clinical Coordinator supervises departmental staff, oversees charging and inventory processes, ensures quality and safety initiatives, and coordinates the care of patients and patient flow throughout the department. 
  • Works cooperatively within the department and with other services to create a system of quality health care.  
  • Provides leadership to ensure compliance with applicable Joint Commission and safety standards.  
  • Provides leadership within the department to support growth and development of new services in area(s) of Interventional Radiology. 
What qualifications you will need:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree
  • (RN) Registered Nurse, or (ARRT-R) Radiography
  • Proven leader with Interventional Radiology
