About HV Infusion & Biologics
HV Infusion & Biologics is a growing ambulatory infusion center located in Fishkill, New York. We provide advanced biologic and specialty infusion therapy in a calm, comfortable, patient-centered environment.
Our center serves patients across rheumatology, neurology, gastroenterology, allergy and immunology, and other specialty areas. We work closely with referring providers to make the referral process efficient, coordinate insurance authorizations, schedule patients promptly, and provide timely clinical communication following treatment.
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse who can combine clinical knowledge, relationship-building skills, and a growth-oriented mindset to expand awareness of our services throughout the Hudson Valley.
Position Summary
The Clinical Outreach & Referral Development Manager, RN, will lead provider outreach, physician relationship development, community engagement, and referral-growth initiatives for HV Infusion & Biologics.
This position is ideal for a clinically knowledgeable and highly personable Registered Nurse who enjoys developing professional relationships, educating healthcare providers, identifying new referral opportunities, and representing an organization in the community.
The successful candidate will serve as a trusted clinical resource for physician offices and other referral partners. The individual will help providers understand our infusion capabilities, referral process, supported therapies, insurance coordination services, and commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience.Key ResponsibilitiesProvider and Referral Development
  • Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, practice managers, referral coordinators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to specialty practices, primary care offices, medical groups, and other potential referral sources.
  • Educate provider offices about HV Infusion & Biologics, including our clinical capabilities, specialties served, medication formulary, referral requirements, scheduling process, and insurance support.
  • Identify new referral opportunities throughout Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, Putnam, Westchester, and surrounding Hudson Valley communities.
  • Serve as a responsive point of contact for referring offices and help resolve referral-related questions or barriers.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and established referral partners.
  • Develop account-specific outreach plans for high-potential practices and healthcare organizations.
Clinical Education and Liaison Services
  • Use nursing knowledge to communicate accurately and confidently about biologic and specialty infusion services.
  • Explain the patient referral journey, including order intake, benefits verification, prior authorization, medication coordination, scheduling, infusion administration, and post-treatment reporting.
  • Provide appropriate educational materials to healthcare providers without offering medical advice or promoting therapies outside approved indications.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure that information provided to referral sources is accurate, current, and consistent with center policies.
  • Communicate provider feedback, clinical questions, referral concerns, and market needs to leadership and the appropriate clinical team members.
  • Help strengthen communication between the infusion center and referring practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New York State.
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of three years of professional nursing or healthcare experience.
  • Strong understanding of clinical terminology, provider-office workflows, and patient-care coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nurses, office managers, referral coordinators, patients, and community representatives.
  • Comfortable conducting outreach, initiating professional conversations, and presenting services to individuals and groups.
  • Ability to work independently, manage a regional territory, prioritize follow-up, and maintain organized records.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally throughout the Hudson Valley.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and the importance of protecting patient and provider information.
  • Proficiency with email, Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, presentation software, and customer relationship management or activity-tracking systems.
