At Longevity Health, our mission is to improve the health and quality of life of nursing home residents by caring for their unique medical, social, and emotional needs. We are seeking an Associate Clinical Applications Analyst to join our IT team.
The Associate Clinical Applications Analyst supports the ongoing maintenance, optimization, testing, configuration, and user support of clinical and operational healthcare applications. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure application functionality aligns with business and patient care needs.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, clinical workflows, testing activities, incident resolution, and end-user support within a healthcare, payer, post-acute, skilled nursing, or clinical environment
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for clinical and operational healthcare applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, incidents, service requests, and escalated support tickets.
  • Assist with application configuration, maintenance, and optimization activities.
  • Support clinical and operational end users by diagnosing issues and providing guidance on system functionality.
  • Participate in application upgrades, releases, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and validation of application enhancements.
  • Analyze workflows and recommend application improvements to increase efficiency and user satisfaction.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, training materials, workflows, and knowledge articles.
  • Manage user onboarding, offboarding, and security access within supported applications.
  • Collaborate with vendors, clinicians, operational leaders, and IT teams to resolve problems and implement enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational security standards.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree, certification, or equivalent healthcare IT experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, or clinical systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and supporting software applications in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience participating in testing activities including UAT, regression testing, or application validation.
  • Experience supporting clinical, operational, or business users.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, PointClickCare, MatrixCare, Meditech, Allscripts, or other healthcare applications.
  • Experience supporting clinicians, providers, nursing teams, or healthcare operations teams.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
  • Experience with HL7, FHIR, healthcare interfaces, or clinical data workflows.
  • Health Informatics, Clinical Informatics, or Healthcare IT experience.
  • Post-Acute Care, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Managed Care, or Insurance industry experience.
