Immunizing Registered Nurse (RN) – Vaccine Nurse (In-Store Clinics) Location: Tennessee (Onsite) – Nashville/Hermitage, TN 37076 and Alcoa, TN 37701 (apply to up to (3) locations max) Pay: Competitive $40.20/hr Summary Now hiring an Immunizing Registered Nurse (RN) to support high-volume vaccine clinics in an in-store/retail pharmacy setting. This Immunizing RN role is ideal for an RN who is confident administering injections, educating patients on vaccines, and documenting accurately in a fast-paced environment. If you're looking for consistent afternoon shifts and steady schedules, this Vaccine Nurse (RN) opportunity offers strong applicant-friendly hours with immediate needs in the Nashville area and Alcoa.

Responsibilities

Administer vaccines/injections (including flu, COVID-19, MMR, and other recommended vaccines) per protocol Screen patients, review vaccine history, and provide clear, evidence-based vaccine education Monitor patients for reactions and follow clinical escalation procedures Document immunizations accurately and maintain compliant patient records Maintain infection control and safety standards; use PPE as provided Collaborate with clinic/store teams to keep patient flow efficient and customer experience strong Provide professional, compassionate care to patients, customers, and caregivers Adapt to shifting daily volume while maintaining quality, accuracy, and compliance Qualifications Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee (or applicable state of assignment) BLS certification preferred 1+ year nursing experience preferred; vaccination/immunization experience strongly preferred Strong clinical skills (assessment, medication administration, injections) and attention to detail Excellent communication, professionalism, and patient service mindset Ability to reliably work the required schedule blocks (evenings/partial weekends depending on site) Must meet standard onboarding and compliance requirements (background/credential verification)
