Job Summary: Registered Nurse, Family Health will coordinate and deliver comprehensive patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team. Perform physical exams and health histories, administer medications and treatments, provide patient education, and respond to emergent conditions. Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare staff, ensuring assignments align with scope of practice and skill level.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Associates degree (ADN) or
    • Baccalaureate degree (BSN) accredited program in nursing.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/ALS)
  • License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience: Must have a minimum three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Full-time experience of at least 24 months within the last 60 months in an Adult Primary Care Outpatient clinic setting.

U.S. Citizenship is required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care within ethical and legal boundaries, synthesize data from a variety of sources, and make appropriate clinical decisions.
  • Collect and assess significant history information and performs all necessary patient teaching.
  • Assess patient needs telephonically; perform telephone and in-person assessment/evaluation to determine the optimal time and location for patient management and follow-up care.
  • Prescribe and communicate treatment plans and patient teaching in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure a safe work environment, employee safe work habits, and patient safety in accordance with regulatory agencies, infection control policies, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Telehealth nursing is an important part of the nursing services performed at the Medical Center.

Work Environment & Schedule: Onsite, full-time Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm with 1-hour lunch break.

Physical requirements: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while reviewing medical records and working on a computer. Frequent use of standard office equipment and use of clear verbal and written communication. Must have sufficient visual acuity and attention to detail to analyze complex clinical documentation, with occasional ability to move about the workplace and lift up to 1015 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits: $ 45.11 per hour + H&W
