Aramark Nexus is hiring a Cafe Manager for CapRock Workforce Community, located outside Pampa, Texas. The Cafe Manager will help ensure guests are served with care, food service runs smoothly, the cafe is clean and organized, and service standards are met throughout each shift. This position is a strong fit for candidates with experience as a Cafe Manager, Restaurant Manager, Food Service Supervisor, Quick Service Manager, Hospitality Supervisor, Dining Supervisor, Cafe Supervisor, or Guest Services Manager.
This is an important hands-on management position with room to grow. The Cafe Manager will be expected to lead by example, support team members, solve guest service issues, maintain strong hospitality standards, and help create a positive experience for residents and guests at Caprock.
The right candidate will understand food service, restaurant operations, cafe service, guest interaction, speed of service, cleanliness, teamwork, and hospitality.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage daily cafe operations in a quick-service food environment.
  • Ensure guests are welcomed, served, and supported with a high level of hospitality.
  • Help maintain consistent service standards during meal periods, peak times, and daily cafe operations.
  • Lead, coach, and support cafe team members during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure food is presented, stocked, replenished, and served according to operational expectations.
  • Monitor guest flow, speed of service, cleanliness, and overall cafe organization.
  • Address guest questions, concerns, or service issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support opening, closing, and shift transition procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety standards.
  • Partner with food service leadership to ensure the cafe is properly staffed and prepared for daily service.
  • Communicate operational needs, service issues, product needs, and team updates to leadership.
  • Help train employees on hospitality expectations, service flow, food handling, and cafe standards.
  • Support inventory awareness, product rotation, waste control, and basic operational follow-up.
  • Work collaboratively with culinary, dining, housekeeping, facilities, and other departments to support the guest experience.
  • Help create a positive, service-focused environment for residents, guests, employees, and clients.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Food service, restaurant, cafe, hospitality, or guest service experience required.
  • Prior supervisory, team lead, shift lead, or management experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Ability to lead by example in a hands-on food service environment.
  • Ability to support a quick-service operation with speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and professionalism.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to coach team members and maintain accountability during daily service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and operational leaders.
  • Ability to follow food safety, sanitation, workplace safety, and service standards.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and work in a physically active environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience as a Cafe Manager, Restaurant Manager, Food Service Supervisor, Quick Service Manager, Cafe Supervisor, Dining Supervisor, Hospitality Supervisor, Shift Manager, or Team Lead.
  • Experience in quick-service restaurants, cafes, coffee shops, cafeterias, grab-and-go dining, hospitality, hotel food service, campus dining, corporate dining, senior living dining, or residential dining.
  • Experience leading hourly team members in a food service or guest service environment.
  • Experience maintaining hospitality standards, service flow, cleanliness, food presentation, and guest satisfaction.
  • Experience supporting food safety, sanitation, inventory awareness, product rotation, and daily operational routines.
  • Experience working in a residential community, workforce housing, hospitality, campus, remote site, or 24/7 operation.
