Aramark Nexus is hiring a Recreation & Fitness Attendant for Caprock Workforce Community, located outside Pampa, Texas. This role supports the daily operations of the fitness center and recreation areas by keeping the gym clean, organized, and safe, and ensuring it is ready for residents and guests.
The Recreation & Fitness Attendant helps maintain the fitness center experience inside a large all-inclusive workforce community where people live, work, and recharge on site. This position is a strong fit for candidates with experience as a Fitness Attendant, Gym Attendant, Recreation Attendant, Fitness Center Attendant, Wellness Attendant, Equipment Room Attendant, Recreation Associate, or Guest Services Attendant.
In this role, the Recreation & Fitness Attendant will clean and organize fitness equipment, inspect recreation equipment, support safe use of equipment, assist guests with questions, and help maintain a professional, welcoming fitness center environment. The right candidate will be dependable, service-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a physically active role.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and daily readiness of the fitness center and recreation areas.
  • Clean fitness equipment, recreation equipment, shared spaces, and related areas according to company procedures.
  • Organize equipment and supplies to ensure the fitness center remains safe, orderly, and easy to use.
  • Assist guests with selecting, locating, and understanding the proper use of recreation or fitness equipment.
  • Become familiar with the types of equipment used in the fitness center and recreation areas.
  • Communicate professionally with guests and provide prompt, courteous service.
  • Perform daily inspections of inventoried recreation and fitness equipment.
  • Inspect equipment involved in an accident or reported safety issue according to Aramark procedures.
  • Identify damaged, unsafe, or malfunctioning equipment and report or repair issues as appropriate.
  • Use proper tools to support minor equipment repair or replacement needs when qualified to do so.
  • Help maintain a safe facility for all users by identifying hazards, following safety procedures, and escalating concerns.
  • Support a positive guest experience through hospitality, cleanliness, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
  • Requires occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.
