The Bus Person โ€“ Cliff House is responsible for supporting exceptional front-of-house service within Wynn Golf Clubโ€™s premier dining destination. Cliff House combines elevated dining with the distinctive atmosphere of a luxury golf environment, serving resort guests, golfers, members, tournament participants, and VIP patrons.

This role plays a vital part in delivering a seamless and refined guest experience by maintaining impeccable dining room presentation, ensuring tables are promptly reset to exact standards, and supporting the service team with efficiency and attention to detail. The Bus Person must demonstrate professionalism, urgency, and a commitment to excellence while upholding Wynnโ€™s Forbes Five-Star service standards.

Key Responsibilities

ย  Dining Room Excellence

  • Clear, clean, and reset tables promptly while maintaining fine dining presentation standards
  • Ensure table settings are accurately arranged with proper placement of glassware, silverware, china, and accompaniments
  • Maintain constant awareness of dining room readiness to support efficient guest seating and service flow
  • Assist servers in maintaining a pristine and welcoming dining environment throughout service

ย  Guest Experience Support

  • Interact with guests in a courteous, professional, and approachable manner
  • Support service staff in delivering an exceptional dining experience from arrival through departure
  • Assist in creating a welcoming atmosphere that reflects both Wynnโ€™s luxury standards and the relaxed sophistication of the golf club setting

ย  Service Support & Coordination

  • Assist servers with table maintenance, water service, bread service, and other support functions as directed
  • Communicate effectively with servers, food runners, bartenders, hosts, and management regarding table status and guest needs
  • Support large parties, golf outings, tournaments, and special events by assisting with dining room setup and service coordination

ย  Presentation, Polish & Attention to Detail

  • Polish and maintain glassware, china, silverware, and service items to Wynn standards
  • Ensure tables, chairs, floors, service stations, and guest-facing areas remain clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Conduct ongoing quality checks throughout service to maintain a flawless dining environment
  • Assist in preserving the appearance and atmosphere of Cliff House through exceptional attention to detail
  • Report maintenance or cleanliness concerns to leadership promptly

Operational Readiness

  • Stock and replenish service stations with linen, silverware, glassware, condiments, and other necessary supplies
  • Complete opening, side work, and closing duties accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of service areas to support operational excellence
  • Attend pre-shift meetings to stay informed regarding VIP guests, golf events, tournaments, and daily operational priorities
  • Support dining room setup and breakdown for special functions and golf-related events

Compliance & Brand Standards

  • Adhere to all Wynn grooming, appearance, and uniform standards
  • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Execute responsibilities in accordance with departmental policies and fine dining service standards
  • Support Forbes Five-Star service expectations through professionalism and attention to detail
  • Act as an ambassador of Wynn Las Vegas, Cliff House, and Wynn Golf Club by demonstrating a commitment to hospitality excellence
Qualifications

ย  Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1โ€“2+ years of experience in a fine dining restaurant, luxury hospitality environment, private club, golf club, or upscale food and beverage operation preferred
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, guest-focused environment strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting luxury service standards and discerning clientele preferred
  • Candidates must be at least 21 years of age
