We're currently seeking a Client Coordinator to join our Commerce, CA team. If you're organized, enjoy building relationships, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to meet you.
Position Summary
As a Client Coordinator, you'll serve as a trusted business partner to our clients by providing exceptional day-to-day support and helping ensure every interaction reflects Ernest's commitment to service. Working closely with our Client Relationship Managers (outside sales representatives), clients, and internal departments, you'll help coordinate the details that keep our clients' business running smoothly.
This is a highly collaborative, onsite position that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering a high level of service. Success in this role comes from building strong relationships, understanding each client's unique business needs, and providing timely, accurate support that creates long-term partnerships.
The Client Coordinator is a full-time, non-exempt position reporting to the Client Coordinator Manager.
What You'll Do
  • Build strong working relationships with clients by understanding their business, purchasing history, and ongoing needs.
  • Serve as a reliable business partner by providing responsive, professional, and solutions-oriented customer service.
  • Support an assigned Client Relationship Manager by providing exceptional service to their portfolio of clients.
  • Coordinate routine communication and activities between clients, Client Relationship Managers, and internal support teams to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Help identify opportunities to introduce additional products and solutions that support clients' businesses.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely order processing and issue resolution.
  • Maintain organized and accurate customer information and documentation.
  • Manage a high volume of emails across multiple accounts while prioritizing requests and responding promptly.
  • Perform clerical and administrative tasks that support the Client Coordinator department.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment while supporting Ernest's culture and commitment to outstanding service.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong clerical, organizational, and data entry skills.
  • Basic math skills, including multiplication, division, and converting fractions to decimals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to effectively manage large volumes of emails across multiple accounts.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Friendly, professional, dependable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Willingness to actively participate in company events and activities.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of customer service experience ideally within an inbound/outbound call center environment or experience as an inside sales rep / account manager.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
