Saxum is seeking a driven, collaborative leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, trust, and results. The Supervisor, Client Strategy, plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day management of key client relationships, driving project delivery, and ensuring exceptional client experiences.

Reporting to the Vice President, Client Strategy, this role helps translate client objectives into actionable strategies, mentors junior team members, and collaborates cross-functionally to deliver measurable impact.

About the Role

The Supervisor, Client Strategy, supports the health and performance of assigned client portfolios. They are responsible for translating strategic direction into tactical execution, ensuring high-quality delivery, and maintaining strong client partnerships. They will:

  • Manage day-to-day client relationships and ensure delivery excellence.

  • Translate client goals and VP-level strategies into actionable project plans.

  • Partner with Domain Catalysts and Operations to execute integrated, results-driven campaigns.

  • Coach and support junior team members to grow their strategic and client management skills.

  • Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines to ensure accountability and quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Leadership & Execution
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, maintaining communication, alignment, and trust.

  • Translate client goals and strategies into project briefs, scopes, and actionable plans.

  • Partner with internal teams to deliver exceptional client work that meets performance expectations.

  • Anticipate client needs, proactively identify challenges, and propose solutions.

  • Support strategic planning efforts in collaboration with the VP, Client Strategy.

Project & Performance Management 
  • Lead project planning, delivery, and quality assurance across multiple workstreams.

  • Manage budgets, scopes, and timelines in coordination with Operations.

  • Ensure deliverables align with client objectives and Saxum’s standards for quality and impact.

  • Track KPIs and performance metrics to inform optimization and reporting.

Team Leadership & Development
  • Provide mentorship and feedback to coordinators, specialists, or associates.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Contribute to the Client Strategy team’s knowledge-sharing, best practices, and internal process innovation.

Integration & Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Domain Catalysts (Creative, Networked Media, Strategic Communications, Emerging Technology) to align strategy with execution.

  • Partner with Operations to ensure efficient resource management and performance tracking.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution and clear communication.

Growth & Performance
  • Identify opportunities to deepen and expand client partnerships through renewals and strategic growth.

  • Support business development through participation in new business opportunities and proposals.

  • Manage portfolio profitability, retention, and growth through disciplined planning and execution.

  • Lead quarterly reviews and retrospectives to assess progress, refine strategies, and reinforce impact.

Experience & Mindset
  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, with experience managing client accounts or projects.

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and manage client work.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.

  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing and communications channels.

  • Experience in project management, reporting, and performance tracking.
