We are looking for a Client Services Associate to join our team!


As part of the Creative Services department, the Client Services Associate will manage a portfolio of assigned client accounts and the associated content campaigns across multiple LabX Media Group brands. This role acts as a highly organized, autonomous operational lead-managing timelines, tracking workflows, and maintaining cross-departmental coordination to ensure timely project execution across brands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts.
  • Lead onboarding outreach, manage the briefing process, run kick-off/status calls independently, and maintain clear "next steps" using a standardized communication chain that ensures smooth internal handoffs.
  • Oversee end-to-end project execution from client onboarding to campaign delivery for assigned content programs. This includes; tracking project timelines, dependencies, client approvals, and handoffs across the Content Studio, Design, Marketing, and Operations teams using our workflow management systems.
  • Actively monitor project deliverables against contractual agreements, including gracefully enforcing the standard client review limits and managing the agreed protocols for delayed feedback, scope creep or unresponsive accounts.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with Sales and Marketing to align delivery timelines with commercial goals, ensuring smooth internal handoffs and participating actively in planning sessions.


Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical Science, or a related field) is required to confidently interpret technical client requirements and collaborate with clients and our specialized content teams.
  • 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in client services, project coordination, or campaign delivery within science/medical communications, or a STEM media environment is an asset


Experience & Skills

  • Experience managing multiple project timelines, files, cross-departmental dependencies simultaneously without losing detail and separating "action-required" workflows from general awareness updates.
  • Confidence running client calls independently, managing professional feedback, and representing the company as a clear, single voice of coordination.
  • You quickly master LMG workflows and begin managing standard campaigns independently.
  • Campaigns move smoothly from Sales handover through production to marketing activation with zero tracking gaps.
  • Creative teams experience smooth handoffs and clear timelines, allowing writers to focus entirely on content creation.
  • Project scope is strictly managed, and delayed client feedback is escalated early before causing internal resource spikes.
  • Clients experience a friendly, structured, and professional onboarding journey.


Compensation:

  • The expected salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 CAD per year, commensurate with
    experience. Benefits package includes health and dental coverage, paidvacation, and professional development support.
