Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Client Associate to support the day-to-day servicing and renewal needs of commercial insurance clients. This role serves as a key liaison between clients, Producers, insurance carriers, and internal teams to ensure accurate policy servicing, timely communication, and a high-quality client experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in managing commercial insurance accounts while balancing client service, coverage needs, and agency profitability. This position plays a key role in supporting client retention, operational accuracy, and strong relationships across assigned accounts.

Work Arrangement: This is a full-time, hybrid position that reports to our office located in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Professional Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding to day-to-day service needs, resolving issues, and providing proactive guidance.
  • Lead the renewal process from start to finish, including coverage review, quoting, remarketing, proposal preparation, and renewal documentation.
  • Process endorsements, policy changes, billing requests, finance agreements, and account reconciliations accurately and timely.
  • Maintain complete and current account information in Applied Epic, including policy details, documentation, client communications, and service activity.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers to support claims intake, facilitate claim resolution, and manage final audits, including audit disputes.
  • Issue Certificates of Insurance and Evidences through CORE24®, ensuring accuracy and timely turnaround.
  • Support marketing efforts by gathering client information, requesting carrier quotes, and collaborating with internal teams to prepare competitive coverage options.
  • Schedule and support renewal meetings, track unusual account activity, and ensure required service checklists are completed.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, Producers, carrier representatives, and internal team members to ensure service expectations are met.
  • Stay current on industry regulations, carrier updates, agency procedures, and internal systems through ongoing training and compliance participation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of insurance industry experience, preferably in Commercial Lines account management or client service.
  • Active Virginia Property & Casualty insurance license required.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Applied Epic experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance servicing processes, renewals, endorsements, certificates, billing, audits, and carrier workflows.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business technology.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and client requests accurately.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, peers, Producers, and carrier partners.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a passion for contributing to company growth and service excellence.

Salary Range: $67,101 - $100,653 depending on the candidate’s experience

The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, certifications, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
