Job description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Resource & Success Specialist works and reports to the Resource and Partnerships Manager to provide holistic support for individuals enrolled in Joint Office initiatives. This role ensures participants have access to essential resources while also receiving structured pathways to employment, education, & vocational training. This role will work closely with Life Coaches, government agencies, & community organizations to remove barriers to success & facilitate long-term stability. Resource Navigation & Case Management •Maintain an updated database of available government & community-based resources. •Identify & establish partnerships with local agencies, businesses, & service providers. •Conduct needs assessments to determine urgent resources for each participant. •Assist clients in identifying resources for essential needs & wraparound services. •Provide referrals to partnering/contracted agencies to support client needs. •Advocate for agencies by navigating processes & removing barriers to service access. Career and Education Pathway Development •Connect agencies with education, vocational training, & career opportunities. •Assist with enrollment in certification programs, apprenticeships, & licensure tracks. •Identify employment partners, skill building options & school admissions resources. •Follow up monthly for 12 months to provide ongoing participant support. Community Engagement and Coordination •Supports onboarding and ongoing training of team members and partner organizations, ensuring alignment with best practices and program standards •Work closely with Life Coaches to ensure participants receive structured mentorship. •Organize and/or participate in resource fairs, workshops, & informational sessions for agencies. •Maintain detailed case notes & program documentation for auditing & reporting. •Gather testimonials & survey feedback from participants, agencies & other stakeholders. •Participate in team meetings, trainings, & conferences relevant to the role. OTHER FUNCTIONS: Performs additional functions (essential or otherwise) which may be assigned. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally & in writing, including speaking to the media and public. Requires the ability to operate general office equipment such as a personal computer, telephone, & wireless technology.
