Job description

McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and dependable individual to join our team as a Seasonal Proposal Intern during the Firm’s busy annual Request for Proposals (“RFPs”) season. This position typically runs from September through February and is expected to be on-site, with weekly hours generally ranging from 28 to 35 hours. In this role, the Proposal Intern will assist with preparing high-quality, competitive proposals in response to RFPs for professional services and may also support other office-related tasks as needed. 


Job Responsibilities:

  • Review RFPs carefully to understand scope, evaluation criteria, deadlines, and submission instructions.
  • Draft, organize, and assemble proposal materials that respond to client needs and accurately reflect the Firm’s qualifications, experience, and services.
  • Ensure proposal responses comply with each RFP’s formatting, documentation, and submission requirements, while proofreading and editing materials for grammar, accuracy, consistency, and overall quality.
  • Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to gather information, updates, and supporting materials needed for proposal submissions.
  • Manage multiple assignments while prioritizing tasks to meet strict submission deadlines. 
  • Maintain organized proposal files.

Compensation and Benefits: The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $18.00 to $23.00 per hour. This position is temporary and is not benefits-eligible, except as otherwise required by applicable federal, state, or local law.
