The ideal candidate is ambitious, autonomous, professional and eager to help turn high level strategic ideas into action. As a member of our growing consulting team, you wont just be watching the health care landscape change; youll be actively helping shape client strategy at all levels of the health system. This hybrid Senior Consultant role, based in our Toronto office, is designed for an individual with proven experience in the health care sector who is ready to provide comprehensive service to a breadth of clients.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and executing client strategy sessions, partnering with health sector leaders to solve challenging problems
  • Owning project delivery across multiple concurrent strategy engagements, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and timelines
  • Leading the development of deliverables such as slide decks, briefing notes, and other communication materials, ensuring high quality outputs and strategic alignment to client goals
  • Maintaining a day-to-day relationship with health sector leaders as part of ongoing advisory and client management responsibilities
  • Tracking and researching emerging health system trends and analyzing their implications to client organizations
  • Designing and executing stakeholder engagement plans, and participating in interviews, focus groups, surveys, facilitation sessions and other engagement tactics
  • Leading proposal drafting, pitch presentations, and response approaches for new business
  • Identifying opportunities to expand client files and build long-term account pipelines
  • Supporting Santis internal product and process development to increase efficiency and continue to develop the management consulting business
  • Working collaboratively with the Santis team and cultivating strong peer relationships across government affairs, communications, digital health, and life sciences verticals


A Great Candidate Would Have a Combination of These Skills and Qualifications:


  • A post-secondary degree in health sciences, policy, business, or related field. Post-graduate training would be beneficial.
  • Minimum 4
    years of related work experience, with previous consulting experience preferred.
  • Experience leading projects, ensuring completion of high quality deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and problem solve in the face of uncertainty.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead project teams and mentor junior staff with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in client engagement and relationship-building with industry representatives and senior executives.
  • Demonstrated research and analytical capabilities to guide decision-making.
  • Expert skills in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the Google Suite.
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and workflows, while maintaining a strong understanding of AI ethics, data privacy, and the importance of fact-checking and human review.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the delivery of slides and presentations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills ability to juggle multiple clients and projects and competing deadlines on a daily basis.
  • Skilled in priority-setting, efficient time-management and the ability to work well within teams and independently.
  • Great attention to detail, with strong calibre of work requiring minimal revision.
  • High degree of discretion and professionalism.
