(Intermediate) Client Strategist

Join our accomplished and growing team of exceptional marketers and ignite a rewarding career! We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join our Strategy team.

The Client Strategist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies across key client accounts. Working closely with Account, Creative, and Digital teams, this role helps translate business objectives into clear, actionable marketing plans that drive measurable results. They will play a key role in uncovering insights, shaping campaign direction, and ensuring all marketing efforts are grounded in strategy and aligned to client goals.

  • Lead the development of integrated marketing strategies that connect digital, experiential, retail, social, content, and brand efforts into cohesive campaigns that drive measurable business results.
  • Translate client business goals into clear strategic direction, actionable campaign plans, audience frameworks, and messaging platforms.
  • Understand how online and offline marketing channels influence one another, building strategies that create connected customer experiences across IRL and digital touchpoints.
  • Conduct market research, consumer insight analysis, trend monitoring, and competitive reviews to uncover opportunities and strengthen strategic recommendations.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Account, Digital, and Production teams to ensure strategic thinking is carried consistently from ideation through execution.
  • Develop campaign measurement frameworks, KPIs, and reporting approaches focused on performance, conversion, engagement, and business impact, not vanity metrics.
  • Analyze campaign and program performance across channels, identifying insights, optimization opportunities, and future recommendations for clients.
  • Participate in and help lead client working sessions, presentations, brainstorms, and planning sessions with confidence and strategic clarity.
  • Contribute to new business efforts including pitch strategy, campaign concepts, strategic positioning, and proposal development.
  • Identify opportunities to expand and strengthen client relationships through proactive strategic thinking and innovative marketing solutions.
  • Stay current on evolving consumer behaviour, digital trends, platform changes, retail dynamics, and experiential marketing innovations to help keep clients ahead of the curve.
  • Bring a problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to connect high-level strategy to real-world execution.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Post-secondary education in the business/marketing field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in a marketing strategy or related role (agency experience preferred).
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing across digital, experiential, and brand channels.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Ability to balance creative thinking with data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills while working across multiple teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to develop insights and translate them into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Experience working with campaign KPIs, reporting, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with retail, automotive, or consumer product categories is an asset.
  • Experience with paid media, CRM, or performance marketing is an asset.
