Location: Hybrid (Local to NYC, Denver, or Charlotte area)

Position Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Clinical Account Consultants.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on clinical analyses, recommendations, presentations, and client interactions.
  • Support onboarding, training, performance management, and workload prioritization across the team.
  • Promote consistency in clinical consulting approaches, tools, and deliverables.
Clinical Strategy & Client Support
  • Oversee development of clinical recommendations related to formulary management, utilization management, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy trend opportunities.
  • Serve as a senior resource and escalation point for complex clinical questions and client situations.
  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales to support strategic client planning, reviews, renewals, finalist presentations, and key client discussions.
  • Ensure client-facing clinical content is accurate, strategic, and aligned with organizational standards.
Operational Execution & Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with operations, analytics, product, implementation, and account teams to ensure successful execution of clinical initiatives.
  • Support implementation activities, disruption reviews, and post-go-live evaluations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, scalability, quality, and consistency across the Clinical Client Management function.
  • Assist in developing standardized tools, templates, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license, or ability to obtain/maintain licensure as required.
  • 6+ years of experience in PBM, managed care, or health plan environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects, mentoring others, or managing clinical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of formulary management, utilization management, specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy trend analysis.
  • Experience translating complex clinical and claims data into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing client-facing clinical teams within the PBM industry.
  • Experience supporting complex or large-market clients.
  • Experience developing clinical consulting standards, tools, or best practices.
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, matrixed environment.

  • New York, NY Salary Range: $160,000 — $190,000 USD
  • Denver, CO Salary Range: $160,000 — $190,000 USD
  • Charlotte, NC Salary Range: $160,000 — $190,000 USD
